How it all began…

Daniella Clarke, is the creator of Frankie B. Jeans. Daniella’s jeans are the epitome of what a hip hugger should be. Her jeans are extremely low and perfect for small figured girls. Typically girls with “no junk in the trunk.” Daniella is married to Dilby Clarke, the guitarist of Guns and Roses. They had a daughter in 1998 and named her Frankie. Clarke used to cut the jeans that she owned and restitched and sewed them to fit her body. She was strongly inspired by the 70′s and their jeans. She especially liked the brand Ditto jeans. Finally one day Clarke received a call from Ditto and they decided that she would be the perfect person to move the brand in a new direction and she called it Frankie B.

Yep, she used to cut off the waistbands on all her jeans. That’s what I love about the brand…low-cut and comfy. I didn’t know she partnered with Ditto though- interesting!
